Morning workout - SCY
500 warm up = 500 yards
2 X (200/2X100/4X50s) = 1,200 yards
8 25s (2 of each stroke) = 200 yards
300 DPS = 20 yards
Total = 2,100 yards
Felt sluggish. Too early. Oh well. Going to keep this up so I am adjusted to swimming early at IGLA.
Evening workout - LCM
500 warm up = 500 meters
20 X 50s = 1,000 meters
5 on :60, 5 on :55, 5 on :50 and 5 on :45
400 kick = 400 meters
8 X 50s drill = 400 meters
6 X 75s = 450 meters
have 75s swum like last of 100
8 X 50s pull - breathing 8 on the 1st and reduce by 1. = 400 meters
100 cool down = 100 meters
total meters = 3,250 meters
Felt really tired in this workout. So I swam so so. 20 X 50s were good. 1st 5 I used to warm up more. Then the middle 10 I did at my 800 pace (:36). I followed that with my final 5 at my 400 pace (:34 / :35). The 75s felt horrible. I did 2 fly, 2 back and 2 breast. My fly was on pace to do about a 1:13 which isn't too bad. My back was on pace to do a 1:16/1:17. Not sure about breast, as I was dead tired.
