So this week I was a mess. Just didn't feel good in the water and the motivation was sometimes not there.
MONDAY 3/5
3x200s on 3:15
6x50's kick on 0:10 rest
4x150's pull on 2:30
Main Set:
12 x 75's, twice through this order (on 1:40):
50fly/25back
25fly/50back
50back/25breast

25breast/50freex
During the 75s is when I got out. I'm not sure why, but I did.
WEDNESDAY 3/7
I felt better for most of the workout today
6 X 75s (2 swim 1 kick)
2 X 50 X 50s
3 X 3 X 100s
breast drills
8 X 50s kick
THURSDAY 3/8
Another crappy workout. The coach did too many drills and my motivation was lost. I did the fly drills but then was over it and left. Not a good week for Brian.
FRIDAY 3/9
We're remodeling the kitchen. We went to Lowe's because they offered us 10% off our cabinets to come in now which would help them meet their goal target. The meeting took too long so I missed swimming.
SATURDAY 3/10
I am going off memory so here goes:
500 w/u
8 X 50s drill down / swim back
10 X 100s swim
6 X 100 IMs (50 fly / 25 back / 25 breast)
Then some kick sets and other stuff
Good workout. It really hurt, especially the IMs, but I still worked them hard.
SUNDAY 3/11 SCM
Mom is in town for her birthday but I still swam.
500 w/u
600 something
Main Set:
3 X 100s free hard followed by a 50 sprint ( do this 4 times through).
50 easy
8 X 75s kick
50 easy
400 fly (4 strokes fly, rest free for each 25)
50 easy
12 X 25s sprint (every other one fly)
200 cool down
This week wasn't too good. After swimming on Sunday we did some things with my mother. Had a nice lunch. Then went to Best Buy to look at digital cameras. I found the one I want for when I go to Europe. I feel weird telling people, but when they ask what I want for my birthday, I am going to request for everyone to give me Best Buy Gift Certificates. I figure if I tell everyone that, I should be able to get the camera I want.
After Best Buy we went to Old Navy for clothes shopping. This is where it happened. As I was trying on clothes, I saw something I disliked. With my shirt off and me bending over, I saw my stomach do an ugly roll. I was horrified. I vowed to start my diet again right then and there. It was horrible!!! I am back on Weight Watchers and going to try my best to be as serious as possible. My short term goal is to be strong with it until I leave for Europe on May 20th. That is basically just over 2 months. Wish me luck!
